The Green Room
Photography, soft mobility, mobile workshops, artisanal ecology
The Green Chamber is a mobile photographic studio project housed in a converted caravan.
This traveling laboratory aims to combine ecological photography, transmission, collective creation, and attentive engagement with the landscapes it crosses.
At once a mediation tool, a space of making, a roving workshop and a site of experimentation, The Green Chamber will function as a threshold — between inside and outside, between artistic creation and popular education, between care and transmission.
This project brings together several dimensions:
- A photographic studio equipped for alternative processes (pinhole, plant-based developers, handcrafted image-making)
- A mobile garden — poetic, pedagogical and alive
- A space for itinerant workshops to share gestures of slow and ecological photography
- A place for encounters, temporary anchoring, and dialogue with territories
With The Green Chamber, the aim is not only to produce images, but to cultivate another relationship to creation — gentler, more grounded, more conscious. It is about photographing differently — and inhabiting differently.
This project is currently under development. It will give rise to a touring cycle of residencies, shared workshops, and field actions combining photography, ecology and sensitive pedagogy.
